This project addressed severe bank erosion along a residential property in Crittenden County — flowing water had carved a 4-foot vertical bank into the yard and was threatening the property line. We shaped the slope, installed properly sized riprap with geotextile fabric underlayment, and redirected the water energy away from the bank. The solution is expected to hold for decades with no maintenance.
